With every purchase, you're not just wearing a symbol of unity and renewal, but also helping communities hit by recent hurricanes—because we donate, everyday, to local hurricane relief efforts. Embrace the storm, honor the earth, and give back.
A brief history lesson for those who may not be familiar:
Although much remains unknown about the Tocobaga chiefdom that once governed the Tampa Bay area from 900-1700 AD, it is said that their grand ceremonial mounds played a protective role for the Bay, shielding it from direct hits by catastrophic hurricanes over the centuries. The last major hurricane to strike Tampa Bay directly occurred in 1921. Sadly, many of these mounds have been destroyed during development, whether intentionally or unknowingly, causing their hidden histories and mysteries to be lost to time.
