Little History lesson for those who may not know;

While much is unknown about the Tocobaga cheifdom that watched over the Tampa Bay area from 900-1700 BC, stories of their large ceremonial temple mounds are told to have protected our Bay area, time and time again, from being directly hit by catastrophic hurricanes. The only major hurricane to directly hit Tampa Bay was in 1921. Many of these mounds have been bulldozed for development, knowingly or unknowingly, and their secrets lost to the world.
